Jesus taught his Disciples through his parables, healings, and sermons. Disciple means “student.” In the Great Commission, Christians are called to teach and make students of God's love for all of humanity and Creation. Bible studies and sacred conversations are the means to learn and discover this love. Our diverse opinions and experiences help us to see a bigger picture of God, Jesus, and the Church. Differences of opinion are seen as opportunities to grow in greater understanding. Here, you will find friendly places to have these sacred conversations and grow in Christ.
We currently offer two multigenerational Sunday classes. Each class is led by clergy, retired clergy, and laypersons.
The "Wildwood" class studies a variety of Christian topics and specific books of the Bible. This class has a wide range of opinions and yet this class often laughs together. This is perfect for those desiring to dive deeper than more typical Sunday school classes.
The "Discovery" class studies a variety of spiritual series based on Christian traditions, beliefs, and books of the Bible. This class is ideal for those discovering the joys of being or becoming a Christian.
Coming Soon! A new class for New Christians will begin shortly. Our leadership team and pastor are currently working to get the right curriculum for this class.
This is a new ecumenical program with a goal of uniting Christian youth within the community of Mineral Wells to develop servant leadership and learn from each other. Currently, the group is only open to Jr High and Sr High students. Follow events and postings on our Facebook page @FCCMWCYF.
If you decide to join our church family, ask to be baptized, or have already joined our church family, and unfamiliar with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), then this class is for you. Sign-up before the next class time so the pastor can prepare.
The Christian Women's Fellowship invites all women to participate in study and fellowship. In addition to studies, they organize a Christmas outreach program and collect funds for Disciples Crossing youth campers.

Nicodemus was a religious man who came to Jesus in the night (John 3:1-21). His questions are our questions. This group will discuss the relevant topics of our day by fostering a place to ask questions, seek sources, and gain a few answers. From multiple perspectives, we become one, and we learn and build each other up in faith.
